Sorry, something went wrong. When i go to the nexus mod site and select download with vortex, instead of opening vortex to download it opens nexus mod manager to do the down load and then i have to manually get it into vortex.

when i still had NMM installed, it would download said mods with NMM, not even considering to use vortex, vortex not downloading mods. I have had to manually download all mods everything seems to be working on the browser side when i click the link i see the link appear in the bottom left then nothing happens. Try to DL mods, windows alert popup says I need an App to open nxm file and I have Vortex open at the time and logged in. I am able to log in vortex via nexus vortex not downloading mods, however when i try to download a mod i get a message saying i need to download an app from the app store. I did setup Vortex correctly following the Wiki and Gopher. I've moded games before there was an Mod Manager, so I know what I'm doing Still, when I try downloding with Vortex, the NMM opens. Prinsnthe download with mod manager button is controlled by both mod authors and our staff, vortex not downloading mods.
Our staff will never disable the button unless the author is providing an installer for the mod. More often, the mod authors themselves would disable the button for one reason or another - please clarify this with the mod author, vortex not downloading mods.
Wikt0ri0are you using FireFox by any chance? FireFox tends to hold its own file associations and may have been configured to automatically start up NMM instead of Vortex.
